Why We Do What We Do
As a nurse, I know firsthand how exhausting, isolating, and emotionally demanding healthcare can be- especially for travel nurses constantly adapting to new cities, new hospitals and long shifts far away from home. Through all of the chaos, one thing often stays constant: our pets.
They wait for us after 12-hour shifts, sit beside us after hard days, travel across states with us, and become our comfort, stability and family while we care for everyone else.
